Avoid this place at all cost. It's a rip-off. I've booked my car online, for a week, and was offered to buy insurance for about $70, but I've decided I'll add insurance when I'll be picking up the car. I had a shock when I found out that I was charged over $200 for insurance - more than I paid for the car itself! That's a huge leap from $70 online. And the clerk didn't even bother to tell me what the insurance is going to cost me until I asked - but the card was charged already. Also, they charged me another $21.55 two weeks after I returned the car, for no reason whatsoever - I returned it with a full tank, I don't see what else I can be charged for. Again, no warning, no notification or call. Worst place I've ever rented a car.
The car had NO wind shield washer fluid when we got it AND it was an 8th of a tank down on gas. On top of it, I didn't agree to the Gas Service Option, did not initial or accept that and returned the car full. I still received the charge of $48.65. Finally, I rented through USAA and did not receive the discount.

It's a shot in the dark to get a car at this location. Booked here and they rented my vehicle to someone else. I showed up and Bam,,,, No Car. Had to drive to airport to pick up another. This didn't happen once but twice. They are not set up for car rentals, use the Panama City location or the Airport. This location needs restructuring.
Only went to this rundown craphole because Enterprise was out of cars.. Got quoted $75 for the weekend, showed up, it was $89, returned the car it magically shot up to $149!! That includes $11 I got back from filling the tank. Ripoff artists. That's after waiting 18 minutes in line. The one guy working the counter joked about it always being busy at the end of the day.. Pssst, if its always busy at the same time; maybe put more than one person on the schedule. Why do I have to think of everything?! They don't even clean or inspect the cars before hand.. There's trash on the floorboard and smears on the inside of the windshield(!) which drives me crazy. Also, there were ants crawling out of the dash of one of the cars I had. Got bit up the entire way there and back. Eww. Do yourself a favor and call Enterprise, they pick you up! Or even Hertz, I heard they have a new place at pier park
Not disputing anything posted previously, but our rental was perfectly handled. Reserved online, walked in, gave our name, signed for the car and drove away. Courteous and professional service. Price exactly as indicated online.
This has been the worst car rental experience I've ever had.
Update: October 2017 - No. I have no desire to speak with your customer service dept. Unless they are in possession of a time machine, I don't see how they could help...
I had a nightmare recently with your Avis/Budget Rental at 8027 Front Beach Road in Panama City, FL. First, I was told I would only need to have $130 to rent a car, no deposit. I asked this three times and was assured each time there was no deposit. I pulled all of my cash out of the bank to travel and left $200 in the bank for the car. I almost couldn't rent the car because of it, and had to transfer money. Because of the issue, we were delayed and had to rush to get off on time.
