Even though the main street was under construction, we enjoyed our stay overall. Our view from the condo was amazing. We would definitely go back.
I really enjoyed staying here but wont be back. The room was wonderful and the appliances were new. The kitchen was very well equipped with very nice stuff. Our bed was super comfortable and I have a bad back so its really hard for me to find that on vacation. So why you ask did I give this location a 3 star? It was because we were interrupted twice by the owners while on vacation! The first time the owner called to make an unexpected visit to change or fix the router. Im ok with that but we had all our things in the room. So I interupted my husbands beach relaxation time to send him to the room while the owner came in to do his thing. When you stay here you are provided with a list of rules you're required to follow, which is really just ordinary stuff like dont leave the air on while you have the balcony doors open to the condo. So no problem right? Well what they fail to mention is, if you turn the air off for a few hours during the morning the owner will call or text that you must close your door and turn back on the air conditioner. The reason why we were told is because the humidity could damage the room. Ok.. so I get it and I am a respectful person so I sacrificed my enjoyment of the beach sound and air to abide by the rules , which was not apart of the rules. I have stayed at many condos and hotels and no one has ever told me that I cant take advantage of being beachfront with a balcony by having the door open for a bit. On top of that I felt like I was lied to by the owner who told me the room next to us had been the ones who told him we had our door open for x amount of time. Which honestly had only been like 3 hours as we prepared breakfast -ate- and got our things for our day at the beach. The actual way the owner knew how long the door had been open is because the thermostat was set up through wifi so he could monitor the temperature of the room. He knew, as the rule says, turn off air when doors are open how long we had our door open.
Ok condo, was not as nice as the pictures, repaired holes in the walls that had not been finished or painted, paint on ceiling cracked and braking off, older appliances that don't work as they should, some locks don't work. We rented through a agency so they don't inspect the condo's they just rent them. Nowhere near what we expected but was not a dump.

We stayed in #2305 and the unit was absolutely beautiful. There were a few minor issues, towel bar and curtain rod in the master bathroom/bedroom were falling out of the wall and the balcony door from the bedroom was nearly impossible to unlock/lock, but those minor things didn't effect our stay. The only major issue was with the mattresses. They were completely worn out. Severe sagging in both rooms and squeeky box springs made it impossible to get a quiet and comfortable night's rest. We will definitely stay in the Ocean Villa again but will consider a different unit.
It was clean. Decorated nice. Great ocean view. Easy to get to the beach.
Some people reading probably dont see this as a big deal but it really bothered me and put a wrench in my vacation the last two days we were there. I mean would you like to think the neighboring condos are watching your every move? I didnt ! So I wont be going back. I advised him to add the door policy to the rules because if I would have read that before hand than I wouldnt have booked here in the first place. There's too many other places I could have stayed to enjoy opening up the balcony door any time for as long as I want on my vacation with no interruptions!
