This is a happy, fun, affordable place to stay. The rooms are dated, but they are clean and the staff are super helpful and friendly. This is an older hotel but for the beach, free breakfast, clean linen upon request. I cant complain.
The pictures online are nothing like what you walk into to. The rooms are old,outdated and filthy. The bed is so old that you can feel the springs. When we 1st walked down the hall,we immediately knew it was going to be a dive. However, I remained hopeful until we walked in. Soon as we sat our luggage down I saw a mouse run from across the room into the kitchen cabinets. We reported it to the mananger,who was very nice and upgraded us to a suite. We could not believe it was considered a upgrade as it was in worse shape than the basic room. Although maybe free from rodents? Again ,dirty,outdated and horrible bed . Definitely won't be back. Trust me ,spend the extra money and go somewhere else. Pics to follow
It was disgusting and there were roaches everywhere! I went there for a church conference for a week and I was one of 49 teenagers.I had three roomates in my room and two of them got their money stolen. We had to beg the room service to change our sheets and our towels. Our room keys constantly didn't work and when we went to get new ones there was so much attitude at the front desk. There were no smoking signs but all of the employee's smoked, the guests all around me also smoked. I would have given this hotel no stars if I could but the view of the beach was very beautiful and there was easy access to it all day and every day which was nice. But still, the hotel was infested with cockroachs and other bugs. One of my friends air conditioning broke and fell off and her smoke alarm was hanging off the wall broken. There were leaks and water was dripping off the wall on to my air conditioning. There was also no hot water and when the room service actually came they didn't clean the bathroom. They just dumped the towels there and left. I really hated this hotel and so did my friends so if you're looking for a hotel to go to in Panama City Beach DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL!!!!!
I was sitting on the bed when I felt something bite me I ignored it at first thinking it was a mosquito, Well that next morning my fiance seen something crawling on the ceiling! guess what it was a BEDBUG! so as i bring it to a supervisor on duty attention she says maintenance had to confirm it. That being said they came to the room looked and didn't see anything so they couldn't "confirm" it. About an hour later we see something crawling on the edge of the bed another bed bug at this point I'm furious.I go to the office all for them to refund my money but tell me that I have to vacate the property! So not only was there bed bugs but I had to cut my vacation short because I had nowhere to stay! Also none of the ice machines worked I'd say corporate is going to be getting a call.
The location on the beach is great and the air conditioner ran well. Everything else is subpar. The mattress was extremely worn and uncomfortable. The hotel room was ok, but the interior halls and balconies were very dated and run-down. The receptionist was nice but check-in was extremely slow due to printer problems. But the worst part was that we had to move rooms in the middle of the night because of a screeching noise in the pipes that turned out to be an issue with a hot water valve that apparently was a known issue but had not been fixed yet. Staff and maintenance guy were very courteous but I was annoyed that this type of problem was not met with more than just saying "sorry for the inconvenience."
