PRO: This is not your mama's Hampton Inn. Brand new hotel with very nice amenities. We had no problems with elevators. In fact, they were very fast. Never seen a Hampton that had a bar right by the pool. Prices were very affordable and front office staff was generally helpful.
I am a business traveler and stay at hotels the majority of the year. This Hampton Inn was a breath of fresh air! The hotel has a clean feel and was beautifully designed. The front staff were very professional and helpful. Additionally, the pool and hot tub were both cleaned daily and were relaxing after a long day of work. I was fortunate to have a beach front room, and what a view! The sheets felt crisp, and you could tell that the housekeepers are proud of their work. Thanks for a great stay!
It has been such an amazing stay for our family during our Thanksgiving break!! The staff have been exceptional and have helped us in any and every way they could, seriously gone over an beyond! Also, everything was so clean. This place has exceeded any expectations we had!! (Coming from a person who never reviews.) Lynn and Theo, two employees, are two of the kindest people you will meet. Recommend to everyone!
Customer service is definitely not there and never make a reservation for any hotel with someone on the other side of the world. I had personal items in my truck that could not get over heated sitting in the sun therefore I went to the Origin and they took great care of me. Know I am in a dispute with cc company and Hampton. Next step is to reach out to the BBB.
When I made a reservation for Hampton inn from my Holiday Inn Express a half mile down the road at 1:30 pm they said they could have unit available when I got there. I told them I would be there in 30 minutes I am at the Holiday Inn less than a mile down the road. Holiday inn was great but their prices increase for the weekend a lot. Of course when you make your reservation by phone you are talking with someone in Nigeria, therefore all they do is lie to you and take your money. So when I get to the Hampton Inn location the front desk manager Charles ( I believe that was his name ) said I can't have a room ready until 5pm. I told him that the guy on the phone said they had a unit available, all he could say is sorry, I don't know.
Overall, good experience!
CON: We stayed for five days. Each day we averaged between 5-6 hrs out of our room. During that time, housekeeping accomplished ONE full service cleaning. On our final day, although checkout was at 11, around 9'ish they asked us when we thought we would be out. Not a great experience in that regard. I did feel they were understaffed in housekeeping for the size hotel they operate. This may have contributed to my poor experience.
Extremely nice property! Very friendly & helpful staff. They worked magic to get the type of room I needed & it is greatly appreciated. 4 stars instead of 5 because the parking lot is across the street & a little inconvenient. All in all, great people & great property... definitely can't beat the GORGEOUS view!
