The staff has always been friendly and accommodating.
Here's the best way to describe this place.
The hotel has great potential if upgraded & sprayed for bugs. Our first night the door wouldn't lock. Entire door needed replaced. They offered us a new room. When we got there our shower wouldn't work, however maintenance was there to fix within 10 minutes. We saw a roach. Underneath the beds was an empty beer bottle and very dirty. Walls were thin, heard our neighbors that were very loud & banging much of the night on something. The pool needed re-painted due to rusty areas. On the bright side it was a great location, breath taking views, tasty restaurant next door that kids eat free, also able to dine outside & maintenance was very friendly & helpful. I will not be staying here again unless updates are made & cleaning improves. Sad to see a hotel with great potential be let go like it was.
If you are the type of person who spends no time in the room except to sleep, this hotel is for you.
If you are the type of person that likes to hang out in the room a lot, this hotel is not for you.
The hotel is old and you have to watch for hidden fee's that aren't in the original total price when booking. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast at the office rocked. The ac worked better then mine at home. With that being said, they could stand to update. Ice machine didn't work well enough to ever get ice. The doors are heavy and hard to open and unlock. I went through 6 keys because my original stopped working. (did not keep it near my phone) The tub constantly leaked which is fairly annoying. Over all we had a great time but I doubt we stay there again.
As soon as we got here we had to wait 20 minutes for maintenance to get us in our room because our door didn’t open. Got inside and tried to shower only to find out it was completely clogged and had to have maintanence come again. The man pulled out chunks of hair and put it in our toilet and left it for us to flush... We had a nice backdoor patio to the beach but the door wouldn’t close unless you locked the deadbolt so we had to walk out the front and around the building every time we went to the beach. We also set the AC unit to 60 as soon as we got to the hotel and by day 3 the room was still around 75 degrees.. Continental breakfast was subpar at best.. 2 cereal options or a bagel was the only choices. I wouldn’t bring a family here ever, but if your a bachelor party just needing a cheap place to sleep.. not a bad choice. Therefore... 2 stars!
You get what you pay for. But it was decent. Nice view of the beach. None of the ice machines worked. Staff was really nice. Needs to be upgraded.
