We interviewed several businesses when it was time to remodel our condo kitchen in Panama City Beach in late 2015. When we met Skip at Final Touch Design we knew we found the right person. Skip helped us through the design process and was very patient with our many modifications. He made suggestions that we hadn't thought of. He came out and placed blue tape on the floor so we could visualized the proposed design in our space. The cabinets we chose arrived on time and were installed professionally. We were extremely happy with the results and the service. Skip recommended the contractor to remodel our kitchen and Alan was amazing. Had it not been for Skip and his team we would have just changed out the existing fixtures and put in new. The way Skip designed our space it opened up our condo and it looks new and modern. We LOVE the way it turned out. Skip's follow up and accessibility exceeds our expectations. We just had him out to look at one of the doors and he made a modification at no charge that solved the problem. This is almost 2 years after the installation. I would recommend Skip in a heartbeat!
Further, the drawers beside the stove were off center and there were screw holes showing in the opening for the microwave. By his own admission, Skip's installer did a poor job. Skip said that the person was no longer employed by him, therefore he hired another cabinet maker to do the repairs to the finish work.
Awesome people! Extremely knowledgeable in cabinets and counter-tops. They provide excellent customer and see their jobs to completion. You won't be disappointed!
Skip at The Final Touch Design furnished the kitchen cabinetry for our new house in Inlet Beach. Our kitchen is very small and basic.The cabinets were installed on time, and our initial meetings with Skip were pleasant. Beyond that, our experience with Skip was not good. The first issue was that the drawings for our cabinetry did not match what we received. The opening for our refrigerator was too large even though we furnished Skip with the specs when requested. When we complained that what we got was different than the drawings, Skip said "refrigerators are all standard sizes so that's what you got." He also said in condescension "if you're able to upgrade to a larger fridge, it will fit." That's when our contractor walked away. There were scratches on the pantry after installation that Skip covered with stain.
In the end Skip did what he could to make things right though this required concessions on our part--a filler piece above the fridge and off set drawer faces.
