Great organic menu. Everything was so fresh and appetizing, and their prices are probably a little too low for the quality and ingredients. If your vegan or vegetarian they have great options and our server was super knowledge and could answer all questions we had. Will definitely be back.
I’m visiting Panama and decided to give this place a try because they were the first we found with gluten free and vegan options with great reviews.
This place is heaven for me. I love that I can get cold pressed juices, coffee, and a healthy lunch all in one place, and enjoy them in the lush outside garden seating area. It reminds me of a Zen nature preseve. I like the accompanying shop and yoga studio. I've purchased beverages every day since I've been on vacation. If I were a local, this would by my daily hang.
I won’t give up on trying this place again though as I hear there are better dishes worth trying out - my first experience just wasn’t a “wow” one.I ordered on a Saturday (today - 11/4 ) after 7pm so I didn’t get a chance to try the smoothies I read that many love as they don’t serve them during that time.
I ordered the Kale Avocado salad as take out and for $10 I would likely not purchase this menu item again. The salad is good but I expected the salad to not be dry. I was honestly looking for the avocado. Seems they use very little mashed avo compared to the ration of kale. I was a bit disappointed. I was also looking for a dressing that I felt is missing from this item.
Being surrounded by the beautiful Zen garden, the peaceful sounds of water falls, and the cool breeze coming through the screen on the porch makes Lotus Cafe that much more special. This "hidden" gem is one that I've passed by many times, and I never would have known the beauty that lies inside just by looking at the place from the road. If you have never stopped in here, please do. Perfect for studying, a quick bite for lunch, a good cup of coffee, a relaxing yoga class, or to unwind and be one with nature.
A must-visit if you ever travel to Panama City Beach and want an experience beyond the normal tourism scene. Delicious food, small but delicious new dinner menu. If you are a picky eater you may not enjoy their menu options for dinner, so try instead for their lunch. Their infused water was a refreshing and healthy addition to the meal. You can enjoy the pretty views of the garden and there are many different places to sit throughout the building, each with a slightly different ambience. The adjoined gift shop and coffee bar businesses are just as impressive.
